Our company handles air, road and sea transport, in Italy and across borders. Safe transfer of your artwork is guaranteed by vehicles with temperature control, pneumatic suspension and hydraulic sides.
The vans are also equipped with specific devices to make transporting precious objects safer, like vibration control (Shockwatch, Shocklog), tilt indicators, GPS detectors and cameras in the load compartment.
Our company has a specially equipped laboratory for producing custom-made, doubled, air-conditioned, fireproof and water-repellent crates.
Our experts are always ready with the best technical solutions for transporting and handling your artwork, including the safest options for packaging.
We can also provide the help of an art historian and the technical expertise of a restorer, upon request, during transport and set-up. A team effort, then, which guarantees maximum care for the artwork and the best backdrop for it at all times.
A warehouse for artwork is currently under construction at our headquarters. The spaces in it will comply with the technical standards needed to conserve artistic artefacts. They will have equipment to control the temperature ​​and safety systems for protection.
For the most precious objects, a vault with 24-hour dedicated surveillance has been set up.
With regard to works coming from abroad, we provide assistance in completing the procedures for fine art, including customs, taking care of contact with the authorities and preparing all the documents needed for authorization.
Martina Service's fine art division can also assist customers by providing insurance solutions on request, both for individual shipments and entire exhibitions.
In the event that your artwork needs to be transported by a courier, we handle all the necessary hotel and travel reservations, constantly supporting the courier in their every need.
We pay the same attention to our drivers who have to stop on long journeys. To ensure a complete service, we have set up a supervised warehouse for parking vehicles and keeping the transported goods safe.
